Tho president of the Australasian Association for the Advancement of Science said that the proposal to alter the name of the Tasman Sea to Anzac Sea would form a likely matter for discussion at the next meeting of the association _ at _ Wellington in January. The association is the only body which speaks for New Zealand and Australia, and such a change would come appropriately from it. The matter would bo dealt with by the geographical section.
