~TO THE EDITOH. Sir, —Reading the'articles about Bill and ’Erb brought to mind the old story of the pot and kettle. I onee asked a University professor if education broadened the mind. Ho replied: “Certainly it does.” So I advised him to attend one of the football matches and listen to the conversation of supporters of a certain team. I would suggest to the writer of ‘ Bill and ’Erb ’ to vary his article and bring in Bertie and Gussie.—l am, etc., August 11. ’Enu. :
