(Received July -31, at 10 a.m.) ; Major Blake calbleA on the 29th from Lahore:— “ On our way here we had to land at Montgomery (Runjaib), and we had the first real taste of the monsoon. Twenty Indians were needed to hold down _ the machine in the terrific gusts, It rained a solid sheet for half an hour, and, turned the aerodrome into' a "lake. After unloading all the cargo we managed to rise from 25u of water. The machine stood the test wonderfully. We arrived hero plastered with mud and soaked to the skin. The ambulances were ready, but they were not needed.’’—A. and N.Z, Cable.
