BRITISH GOVERNMENT APPOINTS
s SPECIAL COMMITTEE

LONDON, July 27. Cabinet, probably as the result of the Pontypridd defeat, decided last night to appoint immediately a special committee to consider anew the unemployment problem with a view to further remedial measures. Several leading members of Cabinet will serve on the committee.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
