Competition waa not very brisk, very few butchers operating. Prime lambs realised up to 20s 6d per head. Fat Cattle—A good yarding, numbering 253 head. The demand was brisk for all prime quality animals, and at the time of going to press prices were about on a par with last week's rates. Prime bullocks realised up to £lo ss; medium, £9 to £lO 10s; light and unfinished sorts, £7 to £3 10a. Prime heifers realised up to £6 los : medium, £4 15s to £5 10s; light and aged from £3 10s upwards. Store Cattle.—A_ small yarding, comprised! mostly of light cows and heifers. These sold at very cheap rates.
