ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY’S CONCERT
Tho second concert of the thirty-fifth seven will he given in His Majesty’s Theatre’ on Monday night. Miss Phyllis West, L.A.8., and' Mr R. H. Bryant are the assisting soloists. Miss West will sing ‘Let Us Forget’ (Maude Valerio White) and ‘ She Never Told Her Love (Haydn); and Mr Bryant has selected ‘When Song is Sweet’ (‘Sans Souci’) as one of his items. The orchestral numbers include the andante and finale of Tschaikowsky’s ‘ Fifth Symphony,’ overtures ' Nachtlagor ’ (Kreutzer) and ‘ Anacreon | (Cherubini), and a selection, ‘Polyeucte’ (Gounod). ' The box plan is now open at The Bristol.
