Twenty-live dead bodies ; have been recovered. The majority of i them were officials of the employees’ families.— -V. and N.Z. Cable. ORIGIN OF FIRE. IN GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS. WHOLE FAMILIES PERISH. MADRID, April 26. (Received April 28, at 12.5 a.m.) Eire broke out at Malaga at 1 a.m. in a building which was occupied by a number of Government departments. The upper stories, which housed the subordinate officials, were cut off. Several families perished. The firo brigade was powerless. It. was Feared that the conflagration would spread to the ground floor, where tlio munitions for the African Army were stored. The death roll is between fifty and sixty. A number of persons lost their lives by jumping from the windows. The firo is still burning.—Router.
