LONDON, March 23,
During the hearing of tho evidence in connection with tho Deutschland purchase Mr Bottomley declared that when the vessel crossed the Atlantic she was laden with torpedoes. Mr BolLpmlcy alleged that ho incurred a loss in exhibiting tho vessel to the -public, and also by being sued for compensation by the dependents of the victims who were killed aboard the vessel by an explosion as she lay in port.
