UNIVERSITY EXTENSION LECTURES
‘ Europe and Pacific Exploration ’ is the subject selected by Dr Elder,_ professor of history in the University of Otago, for the course of University extension lectures which he has undertaken to deliver tills session under the auspices of the University Council and the Presbyterian Church Board. The University extension movement has been productive of good results in adult education in Britain, ana there is no doubt that tho renewed effort to extend the benefits of University lectures to the genera.} public in Dunedin will be much appreciated. The story of the unveiling of the Pacific is a fascinating one, which should make its appeal to all Now Zealanders.
