The first eleven just lost hold of the cup in the latter part of the season, and tho sweand, third, and fourth (a) elevens v«mv in higher positions than that of the previous year. Tho club was still running five eleven teams and keeping a c |S <xi membership. In tho fixtures of the O?F.A. the club was well represented against the teams of H.AI.S. Chatham, Southland. Canterbury, and North and South Islands. Tho finances were not what they should be, as there was still a deficiency. Ordinary suhs. were not enough to meet expenses, and more honorary members were required. The ground was in very good condition at the present time.
