KILLED BY A TRAMCAR. [Pun United Pbes3 Association.] AUCKLAND, March 21. A man about forty years of age, whoso name is thought to 'bo Vercoe, was struck by a tramcar in Qneon street, and died in the hospital four harm lator. Decea&ed had only one eye,, and was crossing the street, when apparently ho stepped right iii front of tho tram. A later message stateuthat the body baa been identified as that of John Gladwin Vercoe, a fa<rmer, of Putaruru.
