Saturday, October 15. (Before Mr 11. Y. Widdowson, S.M.) SIX MONTHS FOB THEFT. Arthur Ernest Jv.lc, an elderly man, pleaded guilty to (1) stealing a pair of trousers valued at £3 10s and a hat valued at £1 15s, the property of Harold Boyd Eyall; and (2) stealing a pillow case valued at 2fi Cd, the property of David Men therstono. Chief-detective Bishop stated that between 3 and 4 o’clock on Thursday tho accused was found upstairs in the Oban Hotel, and ordered out. Later in tho day Mr Rvall, a boarder, discovered that a pair of trousers arid a hat were missing from his room.
