Our Parliamentary Reporter telegraphs that llio Royal Commission on the cement allegations is directed to inquire if the Hour! o' Trade was guilty of impropriety in sanctioning a retail price of £9 13s 6d a ton ; whether the companies took advantage of the shortage to charge an extort,innate price; whether the cement agreement of (May lasi, was in any way criminal or illegal, or was used to make prices excessively Inch ; and whether the Board of Trade,'being aware of the agreement, was lacking in duty in failing to lake action.
