NEW USE FOR RADIUM
INFLUENCE UPON GEMS. LONDON, September 29. Experiments are being made with 1 radium to convert gems of little value into valuable stones. The influence of radium imparls to the gems the rich colors from which they derive* their value. If the experiments are successful they will revolutionise the gem industry.
