Tho ‘ Sydney Morning Herald ’ publishes aa interview 'with Mr Tenant, a. member’ of the Samoan Legislative Council, who is visiting Sydney, in which ho favors Pacific Islands co-operation,, and as a mailer for secondary consideration the establishment of a Pacific League io preserve the peace. Ho docs not tlimk the suggested Pacific Con federation is at present advisable; but ho thinks that it might come later, when the preliminary matters arc Fettled. Air Tenant strongly supported the work of the present Administration, and declared that when the depression which is temporarily affecting Samoa has passed away New Zealand’s policy will be seen to he amply justified.
