FRIENDLY BILLIARD MATCH
On Wednesday evening a teem of billiard ■ •layers from the Returned Soldiers’Association visited the Central Fire Station and played a match with members of the brigade. The games resulted ns follow (Fire Brigade, names given first in each instance) :—J. Salmon 100, O'Brien. 63: Black 75, M'Leon 60; Lamb 94, Brown 80; K. Roe-s 59, Hill 87; Nevin 59, Beatson ICO; G. Ross 75, Finn 85. Totals : R.S.A., 475; Fire Brigade. 442. The visitors were afterwards entertained at supper, and a moat enjoyable evening was spent. Air B. Boas welcomed the returned soldiers, and thanked them for their visit. Air S. Bryant suitably replied on behalf of the R.S.A.
