SCHOOL TROPHIES
An interesting ceremony took place nt tli' l .Macau drew Bond School on Wednesday, when representative* of the O.R.F.U. ami tho Cricket Association visited thn school lor the purpose of presenting the trophies won 'hiring; the season. Mr -M 1 1 ticlm- (chairman of the committee) presided and eongatnlatocl the cricket, team and the A grade football team on a successful season. The cricket team played ten matches unci won them all, and the football learn went through the season without a point being scored against them and whining the twelve games.
Mr f!. A. Marlin (vice-president of the Cricket Association) then presented the cricket team with the handsome banner. He congratulated them on their success and gnvo them some advice on playing the game.
Mr- Bringmis, on behalf of the 0.K.F.U., presented tho Ritchie Cup to th(> -A grade football foam. Ho referred to the games, played by tho team and wished tlmni futuro success.
Mr Macdonald, head master, expressed appreciation of tho work done be the two coaches (.Messrs A. Alloo
and L. .Mackenzie), and cheers were given for them. The .singing of tho National Anthem closed tho proceedings.
