A SLEEP WALKER
STEPS OUT OF BEDROOM WINDOW. SEVERELY INJURED. [Per United Press Association.] CARTERTON, September 14. Walter Dear, a soldier settler at Ahiaruhe Settlement, who was staying at tho Marquis Hotel, walked in his sleep at 3 o’clock this morning. He opened his bedroom window, 16{t from the ground, and stepped out. He was picked up with his face cut and bruised and both wrists broken. He is now in hospital.
