The police have been notified that a shooting affray with serions consoquenoes occurred at Carterton on Saturdav evening. It is -alleged that Frederick Thompson, a laborer, after a drinking bout, shot Antony Rzoska, a laborer,. 26, who now lies in a critical condition in Greytown Hospital. Thompson has been arrested. Rzoska was found in Thompson's whare. where it is believed the two men, -went after leaving the "township. The shooting was. done with a Webley revolver. The bullet entered Rzoska's neck on' the left side, coming ont at- an angle, and just missing the throat.
