SCHOOL COMMITTEES

The head master reported that tho attendance after so much illness both getting back to +W I ;ii„ e / Heague gave one of the r illustrated lectures in the gymnasium hi.l which was well attended and thoroughly appreciated. The present roll is 343 boys and 298 girls, making a total of 646, the average attendance being 611. T.-e Education Board wrote regarding' asphalting the new addition to the playTOU , l ?.’ l and ashmg the committee to pay one-third of the cost ■ It was resolved to reply that the asphalting of this particular part, being new work, the committee, thought the board should complete the job and ask the committee for subsidies for essential traits only. Messrs Werdrop and Scott were appointed Visiting Commitee lor the current month.
