A eiib-commiUee of the Triple Alliance (miners, raihvaymen, and transporters) passed a resolution that the position mentioned in the letter iron the National Union of Raihvaymen in regard to the transport of munitions to Ireland '''warrants consideration of the problem by the organised trade union movement of the whole of Britain. The matter therefore shall be referred to the Parliamentary' Committee urgently requesting that a special trade union congress shall be convened at an early date, so that the attitude of British Labor towards the production and handling of munitions of war for Ireland and Poland mav be determined." The- above-mentioned letter refers to the executive ,of the National Union of Railwaymen consideration of the refusal of the Irish members to handle munitions and the executive's decision o» Mav 27 to refer the matter to the " Triple "Alliance."
