JUVENILE COURT
There -was a sitting of tha Juvenila Court this afternoon, Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M., presiding. A boy eight years of awe, £or_ whom Mr Irwin appeared, pleaded guilty to (stealing two brass weights, valued at ss. The theft was committeed in the shop of Ernest Grimmax, Cargill road. The accused boy admitted having taken articles before.—The Magistrate said it was clear that the boy was not being properly looked after •at home, but he would in this instance be admonished and discharged.—^Si x boys each -aged about 12 years, were charged with trespassing on the raihvav line near the Caversham tunnel.—Senior-sergeant Murray said that some of the boys had secured a velocipede, and were using it on the line. The proceedings were brought as a warning.—His Worship impiessed upon the boys that it was wrong to go on the railway line at all. Three of iho boys were admonished and discharged, and the charges against the oliity; three wars dismissed.
