CHRISTCHURCH. April 16 The Canterbury Education Board to-day received & letter from the departments of the cinet scnool medical officer suggesting the uelegattun of simple duties connected with the cleaning of schools to school children, and also that school children's lunches be organised and supervised and that tooth brush drill be instituted. The Board decided to ask the department to explain more particularly the meaning and scope of the clause dealing with the proposal that children take part in cleaning schools. °
