ANOTHER SENSATION.

KARRY DEELEY HANGS HIMSELF.

WELLINGTON, April 16, Harry Beeley, who was awaiting trial in connection with the Palmerston North murder, hanged himself at the Terrace Gaol this morning. [At Palmerston Aorfch on March 18 the body of a woman with her throat cut was found lying by a fence, where it i« overhung with trees in an unformed street. A ' esident'of the vicinity was passing through the street between 6 and 7 o'clock, whon iie observed the body. Tho police wew» communicated with, and on arrival immediately afterwards removed the corpse to the morgue. . The bodv was then completely coid, and the woman appeared to have been dead for some hours. Investigations disclosed that the body was that of a :narried woman named Mary Ethelm Webby, aged 44 rears, who resided with her husband, Felix Webbv, a drayman in the employ of a local firm of contractors. The face was covered with blood, but there were no mnrks on ti.o body other, than the fatal injuries to the throat.
