EASTER GOLE
AT INVERCARGILL. The Invercargill golf tournament concluded _ yesterday, when the Provincial Championship was won by R. H. Wilson (Invercargill) .after an exciting game with J. H. Drake (St. Clair) 3 up and 1 to play. Ihe Junior Championship was Avon by M. Macbeth (St. from J. E. Cuthill (Invercargill), 6 up and 4 to play. SHIRLEY TOURNAMENT. Our Special advisee that the Christchurch Golf Club’s Easter tournament was continued yesterday. A bogey mapsh was played in the morning, among the cards returned being P. M. Hanna (14), 1 up; H. L. Wilson (8), all square; H. W. Macfarlane (6), 1 down; H. Brasch, Dunedin (6), 3 down; R. B. Lambert, Dunedin (7), 4 down. In a four-ball bogey handicap in the afternoon C. G. Wright and H. Brasch (Dunedin) were 3 up.
