'DE LUXE ANNIE'

The second performance of the exciting mystery-drama, 'De Luxe Annie,' drew a large audience to His Majesty's Theatrlast evening. The idea of the action of the play being told as a story is well carried out. In the first scene the interior of a Pullman oar is represented, with four men discussing coincidences. While he is still talking the curtain falls, and scene ii. shows the etoxy as told, bv the doctors The last scene takes the audience h-ack to the Pullman oar just as the doctor is concluding his story, and then the subjects of his conversation appear, much to the astonishment of the other members of the party. Miss Polini gives a thoroughlv artistic performance in the difficult role of De Luxe Annie, and she is well supported by John Fernside as "Jimmy," her accomplice. 'De Luxe Annie' will be presented again this evening.
