TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —We all know the valuable part played by the \vurkers_-of tfiis country during the war. - The transports which were fitted up and repaired at Port Chalmers by the engineering firms of that poTt carried our lads to and trom England. If a bonus were given to each man according to his wcrth it would go a long way in bringing employer and employee together. Workers are not overblessed with money at the present time, and it bonus coming at Christmas would cheer many a home, and make men think it was worth while after all.—l am, etc., Worker No. 2. December 15.
