Mount Lyells had a fairly close market, buyers offering 27s Bd, sellers asking 28s. In investment scrip banks and insurance camo in for very little quotation. P. and O.s, now quoted ex div., have dropped back to £550 buyer and £6OO seller; while Huddarts were sought for at 47s 9d, but no seller came forward under 495. N.Z. Refrigerators (cout.) have firmed slightly to buyers at 24s sellers at 255. Two hundred lapuan Products were wanted at 2s 5J,d but there was only a seller of 500 at~2s od. Ellipse Petrols have had a rise, and were inquired for at 425, but no -seller under 475.
