FREEMAN FEEDS ASHORE. 7mi Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. SYDNEY, June 4. A big crowd watched the removal of Freeman from the Sonoma to the garrison hospital at Victoria Barracks, pending the decision of the Minister of Defence. Freeman broke his self-imposed fast last evening, when informed that he was to be removed, but b.9 is very weak after several foodless days. He had to be carried out on a stretcher. The wharf laborers resumed the Lading of the Sonoma when Freeman's removal was assured, and the vessel sailed to-night for San Francisco. MELBOURNE, June 4. The Acting: Minister of Defence fca- promised Mr Tudor and other Labor leaders Cabinet consideration of a request for a lair trial for Freeman.
