AUCKLAND. In the Supreme Court to-day, Stephon Any, secretary of the Hokianga Dairy Co J was sentenced to three years' probation and ordered to pay £ls towards the coat of the prosecution. Accused was tried three times on a charge of ornbezzlemont and falsifying the company's books. Two juries disagreed, but the third jury found him guilty of falsification with a recommendation to mercy, HAMILTON. In the Supreme Court to-day Patrick Lorry, an elderly man, was charged wtth stealing cattle at Kaimai, He waa fined £SO.
