PLUMBERS' CONFERENCE
The master plumbers of the Dominion have been sitting in conference at Wellington. The following executive were appointed, with headquarters at Dunedin:---President, Mr J. 8. Douglas; vice-presi-dent, Mr C. S, Jenkins ; treasurer, Mr P. Walker; committee—Messrs J. H. Wilson, A. Burk, D. Scrymgeour; district vicepresidents—Messrs J. C. Spenley (Auckland), W. Judd (Wellington), W. Dean (Christchurch), J. Christie (Dunedin), J. S. Anchor (Invercargill) ; Parliamentary Committee—Messrs P. Bailinger, W. Judd, A. E. Wells, S. L. Russell, Ramsay, and S. M'lvor; representative on Employers' Executive, Mr W. Judd. A deputation from the conference waitedupon the Minister of Public Health and submitted suggestions for consideration. The Minister stated that it was his intention to give every encouragement towards establishing bursaries for trades or professions ,and ho considered that sanitary sions, and he considered that sanitary a scheme.
