TO HELL WITH THE KAISER
L\/ iIULUJ M i UL X JLJUU XLUiULai! A DRAMA OF THE WAR. ‘To Hell with the Kaiser’ is the startling title of a Metro drama released for the first time at the Empire Theatre today. It is an eight-reel production, and is one of the best pictures dealing with tho war that has yet been screened. It is a clover commingling of fact and fancy. The war lords of Germany, presided over by tho Kaiser, aro shown planning the conquest of the world. The story concerns an American inventor in Germany, who refuses to sell tho plans for his wireless to the Kaiser. When the war breaks out the inventor's younger daughter is killed by tho Crown' Prince. The inventor, in attempting to avenge her, is shot. His other daughter, Alice, vows revenge. She worms her way into tho affections of the Crown Prince, and in the end kills"him and helps to capture the Kaiser. ‘To Hell with tho Kaiser ’ is of tho greatest historic value, and, more than that, it is a. powerful story. Tho acting of Lawrence Grant as tho Kaiser, Olivo Tell as Alice, Betty Howe as Ruth, Frank Currier as Professor Monroe, and John Sunderland as Dodge deserves highest praise. This picture will be screened again this evening.
