LONDON, March 12. (Received March 15, at. 11.45 a.m.) Mr Gibson, representing the South Wales Coal Owners’ Association, stated in evidence that the miners’ average daily wage throughout the United Kingdom in 1914 was 8s lOd, and in November, 1918, was 19a.
