GREENKEEPERS' TOURNEY. The annual greenkeepers' tournament was played on Dunedin Green yesterday in ideal weather. Five games were played, and W. C. Thompson (Balmacewen) with an unbeaten record proved to be the winning skip. Messrs W. Smith (president of Dunedin Club), J. H. Matheson (president of Dunedin Centre), and W. Jacobsen (member of Centre Executive) addressed the greenkeepers during the day. At the close of the play the annual meeting of tho Greenkeepers' Association was held, when the following executive were elected :—President, Mr W. C. Thompson; secretary, Mr W. Walker; treasurer, Mr R. Todd: members of the committee; Messrs Ogg and Lowe. Results of the day's play:— —First Round.— Creed (Wakari) and Ogg (Caledonian) beat Lowe (St. Kikla) and Walker (Otago). Crawford (Dunedin) and Hutton (West Harbor) beat Davidson (Kaituna) and Todd (Roslyn). Bobsein (Kaikorai) and Thompson (Balmacewen) beat Blacklow (St. Clair) and Shand (Caversham). —Second Round.— Lowe and Ogg beat Crawford and Todd. Creed and Shand beat Bobsein and Walker. Blacklow and Thompson beat Davidson and Hutton. —Third Round.— Bobsein and Ogg drew with Lowe and Hutton. Davidson and Shand beat Blacklow and Todd. Crawford and Thompson beat Creed and Walker. —Fourth Round.— Lowe and Thompson beat Creed and Todd. Crawford and Ogg beat Bobsein and Shand. Davidson and Walker beat Blacklow and Hutton. —Fifth Round.— Davidson and Thompson beat Blacklow and Ogg. Bobsein and Todd beat Crawford and Walker. Creed and Hutton beat Lowe and Shand.
