DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. No business was transacted publicly at the first call on 'Change to-day, and the market generally was quiet. P. and 0. shares were in good demand at £392, but sellers were holding out for £4OO. Hud-dart-Parkers had a seller at 41s 3d, but no buyer. Standard Insurances, which are now quoted ex dividend, were wanted at 465, without any declared seller. Dominion Rubbers were on the market at 30s 6d, with buyers at 2s less. Kaiapoi Woollens (ordinary) were sought at £7 ss, but sellers wero asking £7 Bs. New Zealand Paper Mills remain firm at 22.s 9d and 23s 3d, buyer and seller respectively. In mining lines, Talisman Consolidated. 1 ; had buyers at 8s and sellers at 8s lid. whilst Waihi Grand Junctions and Mount Lyells were offered at recent prices, but tliere was no demand for either lino.
