The Kotare left Lyttelton on Saturday afternoon for Nelson. She will afterwards go to N ydia Bay to lead timber fot Lyttelton. The Ramona will leave Camara to-night for Dunedin, where she should arrive tomorrow morning. She has- a part cargo of I coal for discharge, and an effort will be | made to despatch her to-morrow night for Westport. The Kaitangata is expected to leave Newcastle to-day with a full cargo of coal for Auckland. The Kokin will leave Wellington tomorrow for Grevmouth, where she will load coal for Weflingtoltoand Lyttelton. The Corinna is now fixed to leave Wellington to-morrow for Dunedin direct. She should arrive here early on ThersI day morning, and an endeavor be J made to despatch her the same day for way ports and New Plymouth. INCOMING VANCOUVER. MAIL. The Union Company advise that the R.M.S. Makura is due at Auckland tomorrow from Vancouver and Honolulu. The vessel is bringing a large European and American mail, passengers, and general Canadian merchandise for New Zealand. She is timed to leave Auckland on March 18 for Suva, Honolulu, and Vancouver. SHIP DUNSYRB’S RECORD TRIP. 38 DAYS FROM SAN FRANCISCO. A telegram from Wellington states that the American full-rigged ship Dunsyro ..r----rived at the northern port on Saturday afternoon from San Franciaeo after a passage of 38 days. This is a record trip for a sailing vessel between America and New Zealand. The massage states t.mt Cm supply of fresh meat on board was not exhausted on arrival. _ _ • The Dunsyre, 2,056 tons, visited LHinedm last year, arriving here on the afternoon of August 24 from San Francisco and Lyttelton. She discharged a part _ cargo of case oil, and sailed on the morning of September 6 for Sydney, where she duly arrived and loaded a cargo of wheat tor San Francisco. The Dunsyre arrived at Hie Californian port on January 1.
