JUMBLE FAIR-TO-DAY.
SALVATION" ARMY HALL. SOUTH DUNEDiX.
A jumble lair in aid of the annual selfdenial fund was officially opened bv the Mayor of St, Kikla (Mr" C. N. Scttrr) in the Salvation Army Hall, South Dunedin, this afternoon. Tho hall is specially suitable for a sale of this sort, having the stalls ranged around the walls, and seating accommodation for a large number in the centre. Beinu a jumble sale, no attemp't has been made to classify tho goods and articles on the various stalls.
The following are the stallholders and assistants:—Mesdannes Syder, Morris, Williams. Bush, Moore, (,'hirnside, and Dickenson. Miss Williams, Adjutants Baker and Elliot. The tea room is in charge of Mesdames Grassland and Anderson.
This evening the Dunedin City Bawl and North Dunedin friends will provide the entertainment. The sale will be continued on Thursday and, Friday. Admission in the afternoon is free. For the evening sessions season tickets are issued, the. charge for which is one shilling for adults and sixpence for children.
