DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Dredging and sluicing shares were unquoted on tho first call over on the local Exchange to-day. In the quartz mining section, Talismans have hardened on last week's closing prices, being wanted at 8s 4d ; no seller under 9s 3d. Wa-ihis remain firm at 39s 6d buyers, 40s 6d sellers ; and Grand Junctions have eased slightly to buyers 13s 3d, sellers 13s 9d. Mount Lyells bad a close market., but no sales were effected, buyers offering 50s 7d, sellers asking 30s 9d. Of investment stocks, buye.ra of Bank of Sew Zealand (£3 6s 8d paad) have firmed to £l2 15s ; no sellers offering. P. and 0. deferred have declined on last week's rates, buyers offering £362 10s, sellers asking £368. Huddjart-Parker (ordinary) have also eased slightly to buyers 39s 7d, sellers 40s 6d. Westport CbaHs have firmed, and' had a close market —buyers at 30s 3d, sellers a-t 30s 6d. Milbnrn Limes continue to harden, and had sales to-day at 34s 6d, the market closing with buyers 345, sellers 355. New Zealand Paper Mills were on offer at 25s without attracting a buyer.
