Lord Plunket presided at a function at which Mr Mas>««y opened the Babios of Empire Mother-craft Training Centre, under the auspices of the Overseas Ciub and other patriotic leagues. Mr Massey said thousands oi children bad been saved through the work of the Plunket nurses and the public health organisation in New Zealand. Dr Truby King, who is tlio medical director o£ the centre, described the work.
