The market was very active again this morning, and a considerable amount of business was transacted in both mining and investment stocks at the first call on 'Change. Huddart-Parker shipping shares again attracted most attention, but prices were a- shade easier. A number of sales were effected at £1 16s 6d. the market closing with further buyers at £1 15s 5d and sellers at £1 16s 6xl. New Zealand' Refrigerating Company's stock was on offer nn £2 -° S - 6d -' !md 011e Sale took l' !nce at £i. National Insurances are inclined to firm, the morning quotations being £5 and £0 0s 3d, buyer and teller respectively. Standard Insurances had buyers at £2 0s 9d, with sellers asking Is more.
