LONDON, February 18. - (Received February 19, at .9.30 a.m.) Austrian newspapers threaten that Ausriao will refuse to renew the war with iussia. COPENHAGEN, February 18. (Received February 19, at 9 a.m.) , Various telegrams indicate that the re- ; mmption of a state of wax between the Central Powers and Russia has produced in -Austro-German cleavage. Austrian newspapers warn Germany against reopening hostilities, in which Austria does not desire to participate'. The Vienna ' Niene Freie Presse' points out that Austria no longer borders on Russia; therefore she is not compelled to resume hostilities, though she might undertake to protect lines of communication with the "Ukraine.' 'Die Zeit' says that, so far as Austria is concerned, the war is practically finished. On the other hand, America has scarcely begun. Thinking people now look to Count Czernin and President Wilson, and Germany must not interrupt their - negotiations." LONDON, February 18. * (Received February 19, at 9 a.m.) The 'Daily Telegraph's' Milan correspondent says that Count Czernin will pre--1 gently reply to President Wilson, .and will adopt a friendly tone of discussion.
