ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
An inquest was held at Cluistehureh yesterday into the circumstances attending the death of Marmaduke Geo. Wallich, a wellknown dentist. The evidence- showed that deceased had been in bad health for some time, and suffering from insomnia. A-doc-tor was called and found Wallich suffering from the effects of poisoning, caused by a sleeping draught and aggravated bv chronic kidney disease. A verdict in accordance with the doctor's evidence was returned CharlesjPearee (60) was found dead near his home at Sockburn this mornina. There, was nothing to indicate the cause of death. —Christchirrch telegram.
