TURKEY'S TERMS
FOR PEACE WITH RUSSIA. HARSH STIPULATIONS, WITH FEW CONCESSIONS. PETROGRAD, January 6. (Received January 7, at 8.40 a.m.) The main points in the Turkish offer of peace terms to Russia are: The return of the pre-war frontier lines; the conclusion of a convention respecting sea, trade; a consultation on, the matter of, within two vears of peace, refunding individuals' war losses; guarantees of .Persia's entire independence; a free passage during the war for Russian ships through the Dardanelles • and the Bosphorus; a limited Russian mobilisation for national defence; the removal of the Russian armies to within her previous borders, except one division for guaranteeing the frontier of Russia; demobilising the Armenian units of the armv . and the Black Sea navy; and Turkey t'oretain an active army in consequence of • the continuance of her war against the Entente Powers.
