(Received November 6, at 9.4 The Queensland Government hav<= acquired a chain of pastoral stations from tile Townsville district to the Gulg of Carpentaria country, at a east of £288.000. The Government have also withdrawn from occupation license- a big area adjacent to these station*, adding altogether 6,114 square miles to the acquired area. It will be utilised for iStale cattle-raising.
