REALLY GOOD COUGH SYRUP

HOW TO MAKE IT AT HOME,

There are now some thousands of New Zealand people making their own good family cough and cold Temedy from the following prescription. It saves such a lot of money, and docs such a lot oi good, that its quick popularity is easily accounted for.

Obtain from your chemist one bottle of Hean's Essence and mix it with treacle, sugar, and water as per simple directions on label. This will make one pint of cough remedy suitable for all members of the family. It is nice to take, is warming, soothing, comforting, lasts a long time, never spoils. It gives you about twelve shillings' worth for 2s. A few drops may be given to a child and a spoonful to an adult. Each dose shou'.d be sipped slowly to allow the mixture to lubricate the throat as much as possible, and tp help its warming, soothing, and curing effect.
