M'Flynn) 2, W. Robertson’s 4 Redsbire by Downshiro—Red Peony (8.5. .1. Olsen) 3.’ Also started : 2 Battle Eve '(8.10, F. F. .hmes). Adjutant and Firing Start were scratched. A good start, but Snub scorned to get shut ‘out. After going a little more than a furlong Battle Eve had a slight head from Redsbire and Wishful. At about four and a-half furlongs Baltic Eve suddenly dropped back and joined Snub, leaving Wishful in tho lead. Snub was in charge before reaching the .'home turn. and won nicelv by a length from Wishful, who beat Redsbire by six lengths, Battle Eve" a further six lengths away. Time, Imin 42 l-sacc.
