YOUNG GIRL CHARGED, [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, October 8. A young girl was charged with' assaulting a man named George Clark, who was admitted to the hospital Yesterday evening suffering from a hatpin wound. The left lung was penetrated, and there is a danger of blood poisoning. Accused’s counsel said it was not an ordinary case, and from the information he had the girl’s action was ouite warranted. She was remanded until Wednesday.
