- At the Randwick stock sales yesterday Mr Baldock purchased the Svd'ncy Cup winner, Scotch Artillery, for 's7sgs,' and ho will probably be sent to India. Several lots of English thoroughbreds ranged from 180gs to 4oogs, Mr ,J. Hawkins (of New Zealand) paying the latter figure for the stallion Marcnvis. Mr Scully secured The Scribe for 6Cogs. First Principle brought 725g5, Aminta 300g,5, and Lim-and 280gs. Secret Service was sold for 500gs,
