Objects : To acquire and take over as a, going concern the business lately carried on at Dunedin by J. Braithwaite.

Tho coal output from Westport last week was as follows :—Westport Coal Company, 9,724 tons 12cwt (coke. 52 tons 6ewt); Westport Stockton Company, 3,651tons 12cwt.

Total. 8,845 tons 2cwt. NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY. The report of the National Insurance Company for the year ended September 30 shows that the directors have added £IO.OOO to the reserve fund. They recommend that a dividend of Is and a bonus of 6d per share bp paid, making the total distribution for the year 2s 6d per share, and that £29.573 4s lid he carried forward.
