Butter of all grades has dropped 5s 4d per cvvt, due to an accumulation of supplies on the local market. There is a decline of 8s at Brisbane and 10s on the Melbourne market. STUD SHEEP SALES. SYDNEY, July 6. At the stud sheep _ sales to-day, _ the record price of 210 guineas was obtained for a Lincoln ewe. Others realised to 33 guineas, and batches averaged from 2-j to 16 guineas. Stud rams sold up to 58 guineas, and batches averaged from £2 16s to £l7 2s. Of the merinos submitted, a ram from the Havilah flock fetched 520 guineas, another 350 guineas, and others from 10 to 280 guineas. Four Uardry special stud rams averaged 1561 guineas, the top price being 400 guineas. Others fetched from 40 to 150 guineas. One Deniliquin ran fetched 300 guineas, and other merinos from 3 to 31 guineas. A draft of Romney Marsh sheep, on account of Mr J. A. Murdoch, of New Zealand —16 ram Log gets—fetched from 35 to 70 guineas.

The clip was worth approximately £13,100,000, an increase of £1,448,000.
